Where to vote on Election Day

In 2022, Park County served voters at 10 different polling locations on  Election Day. Voters also had the option to request an absentee ballot or to vote early at the Park County Courthouse.

You can look up your polling place by visiting Park County’s online MapServer application. Type in your address and your polling place should appear on screen (for example, “Fairgrounds”). If that doesn’t work, make sure the layer called “2022 Voter Precincts” is turned on, then navigate to your property on the map. If you still can’t see your polling place, select the tool on the top toolbar that depicts an “i” in a dark circle, then click on your property. Your precinct and polling place should be listed under the info tab. If you run into questions, call the elections office at 307-527-8620.

Changes to polling places in 2022

The Elections Office worked to minimize the impact of the 2022  redistricting process on local voters, but a few spots in the Powell area wound up with new polling places. You can view the current boundaries in the MapServer application or by looking at this PDF map. The changes to polling places are described below:

  • Some Willwood residents living north of Wyo. Highway 295 and east of Road 5 who previously voted in Powell were moved to the Garland Community Church of God. The same went for voters living roughly north of Lane 4 and east of Wyo. Highway 295.
  • Residents within a small area northeast of Powell – north of Lane 9 and roughly west of Road 12 – voted at the Heart Mountain Clubhouse instead of in Powell.
  • Residents east of Powell who live between Lanes 5 & 9 and Roads 6 & 7, and those living between Roads 5 and 6 and Lanes 8H and 9, voted at the Park County Fairgrounds. They had previously voted in Garland.
