Park County - Assessors
Appraiser
The Park County Assessor’s office is currently accepting applications for a Certified Appraiser position. This position performs a variety of complex technical duties encompassing the complete valuation process; performs inspection, classification, appraisal, and valuation of countywide personal and real properties as needed to determine tax valuation. This position comes with the opportunity for advancement.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduation from high school
- Valid Wyoming driver’s license
- Strong customer service skills
- Competency in Microsoft Suite preferred, but not required
Compensation:
Certified Appraiser: $21.50 to $24.00 (depending on experience)

Custodian Position – Full Time

Park County - Fairgrounds
Park County, Wyoming is currently accepting applications for the position of Custodian/Grounds Keeper in Powell at the fairgrounds. The position requires performance of a variety of custodial duties as well as basic grounds keeping tasks requiring a wide range of abilities related to mowing, trimming, turf care, maintenance and repair, clean-up, snow removal, and other related responsibilities.
Work Assignment: Based at the Park County Fairgrounds in Powell but may occasionally be assigned to other County facilities in Cody and Powell.

Landfill Lot Attendant
LANDFILL LOT ATTENDANT Part-Time Position Available The Solid Waste Division (SWD) of the Park County Public Works Department (PWD) with offices in Cody, Wyoming is currently accepting applications for the position of Landfill Lot Attendant (LLA). Under the administrative and technical direction of the SWD Manager with close coordination with the various individual site managers/lead operators, the LLA is responsible for carrying out various administrative, technical, and maintenance related duties in support of Park County’s solid waste operations at the Cody, Powell, and Clark Landfills. Duties may also involve maintenance related tasks at the Crandall transfer station and Park County’s waste-water lagoons located near Cody.
Compensation: $14 to 19.97 per hour depending on experience (Non-Exempt). Position is full time with benefits

PLANNER II or PLANNER III/ASST DIRECTOR – FULL-TIME
The Park County Planning and Zoning Department is currently accepting applications for the position of Planner II or Planner III/Assistant Director for the Cody office (position will be based upon the experience and qualifications of a suitable candidate). The ideal candidate will have mid- to upper-level planning skills, including knowledge of planning concepts, state laws regarding planning and land use topics, exceptional writing and research abilities, and experience working with the public. Experience with small wastewater system design/permitting/inspection and/or geographic information systems (GIS) is preferred, but not required. Some county travel and field work may be required to conduct site inspections. Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel required.

Park County - Public Health
Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Grand Nurse – Part time: 24 Hours per week
Reporting directly to the park county Public Health Nurse Manager. The MCH Nurse performs nursing assessments, diagnosis, treatment, planning implementation, and evaluation for individuals, families, groups, or to the population, with special emphasis on women and children. The nurse teaches and councils clients and families both through in-home visitation and in the public health office and not limited to arranging and conducting clinics and classes..

Park County - Public Works
Technical Assistant Position Available
The Park County Public Works Department is currently accepting applications for the
position of Technical Assistant to work in our Cody offices. The position requires
performance of various administrative and technical functions related to program and
project management for a variety of activities on behalf of the Public Works Department.
These functions include but are not limited to data and information compilation, tracking,
and reporting. Duties also include organization and maintenance of extensive
departmental records involving the County road & bridge system.
The position requires a diverse set of skills involving both office and field assignments
while providing administrative and technical support to other Public Works Department
staff. Successful completion of job duties requires strong communication and
organizational skills. Technical Assistant shall also have a strong background in
computer applications involving data base management, spreadsheets, data
compilation, word processing, and other commonly used office programs.
Work Assignment: Public Works Department offices located at 1131 11th Street in
Cody – Some field work and in State travel is required. Work Schedule: 8:00 AM to 5:00
PM Monday through Friday.
Compensation: $20.97 per hour + Benefits

Park County - Treasurers
Tax Clerk I
Works with and assists the Motor Vehicle Administrator. Processes mail-in/on-line payments and collects
motor vehicle taxes, issues license plates and/or tabs; calculating quotes and collecting sales or use
taxes along with all property taxes, side work as required pertaining to the job. Maintains and is
responsible for their own personal cash drawer, ability to count cash back to customers is required,
balances monies with the current days business receipts, resolves discrepancies, processes final reports.
Processes and collects property taxes, calculating interest, issuing mobile home movement applications.
Process exemptions and works on refund programs.
Performs all clerical duties as needed; excel, typing forms/letters, making mathematical calculations
which includes using the computer software programs, e-mails, ten key calculators, filing records, assist
the public and answer questions by telephone, e-mail and in person. Customer Service experience
is a must.
