The Park County Landfill in Cody has an opening for a part time Landfill Gate Attendant. Monday through Friday 7:30 – 5:00 28.5 hrs./ week, starting pay is $17.50 per hour. Park County Sheriff's Department

Currently Open Positions

The Park County Sheriff’s Office has openings for Detention Deputies. A pre-employment physical and psychological tests are required. Benefits include shift differential, Paid Time Off (PTO), holiday pay, medical and life insurance, and contribution to the state of Wyoming Retirement System. Uniforms are also provided. Lateral transfers will have preference.

The position of Detention Deputy requires a 12-hour work schedule with rotating shifts that are mandatory and subject to change. Applicants must meet the following requirements: must pass Certification requirements by the Wyoming Peace Officer Standards and Training Commission, be a United States Citizen at least 21 years of age, have a high school diploma or equivalent, pass a background check and have a valid driver’s license, must maintain a level of physical fitness to meet Department standards. Starting salary is $50,835 up to $63,544 a year, depending on experience.
