Park County HVAC Project Information
Park County Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Project
Park County has determined that a new Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system needs to be installed to replace the current system. The current system is 30+ years old and has been failing regularly. As such, local contractors have been retained to replace the system in the courthouse. During the replacement, the courthouse will have to be vacated and the offices relocated to other county buildings. Below is a timeline and location for each department that is affected. We apologize for any inconvenience during this time. The project is slated to take approximately a year starting in October of 2023.

Clerks of Circuit Court Relocation

Clerks of Circuit Court will be relocated to the Park County Complex (1501 Stampede Ave, Cody, WY 82414), They are situated in suite 2011. Clerks of Circuit Court are also located at the Powell Annex (109 W 14th St, Powell, WY 82435) on the second floor.Planning & Zoning Relocation

The Park County Planning and Zoning department are relocated to the Park County Complex. They are situated in suite 2201.
Public Works Relocation

The Park County Public Works office are relocated to the old Game and Fish offices located at 2820 Hwy 120. They will be in the modular offices on the north side of the building.
Solid Waste/Landfill Relocation

The Solid Waste office are relocated from their current location at 1131 11th St to 2820 Hwy 120, in the Modular offices north of the old Game and Fish building.
Public Health Relocation

Public Health are relocated to the Coroner's office located behind the Law Enforcement Center at 1402 River View Dr.
County Attorney's Relocation

The Park County Attorney's are now located in their main offices on the second floor of the new Courthouse.
Basin Authority Relocation

Basin Authority will be closing their office in the courthouse addition and will be making a permanent move to 1438 Sheridan Ave, Suite 103.
Clerk of District Court

The Clerk of District Court are now located back in their original office on the second floor of the new Courthouse.
Youth Services Relocation

The Park County Youth Services/Juvenile Probation offices are now both open. One in Cody on the second floor of the new Courthouse, and the other located at the Powell Annex at 109 W 14th St. on the second floor.
Commissioners Relocation

The Park County Commissioners will be relocating their meeting room from its current location to the Park County Complex's Grizzly Hall located in the Cody Library.
